Torque converter is used to increase the initial torque of the vehicle. It is used to in automatic transmission vehicle only. In manual transmission the transmission is like engine to clutch, clutch to transmission, transmission to propeller shaft, propeller soft to differential, differential to wheels. In automatic transmission all the above are same except clutch, in automatic transmission instead of clutch the use torque converter. Torque converter is a component consist of pump,turbine and stator. Turbine is attached with the transmission and pump is attached with the engine. In converters they use fluid as a medium to increase torque. That fluid is known as transmission fluid and that fluid cannot be compressed. In torque converters there are much more vanes which is set up in some special angles. BenTen genius in ideal state the transaction is cannot happen but the engine is in running condition only. Because of the pump is connected with the engine the pump also run in this stage the fluid in the torque converter is acting in the stator and the stator is try to stable in a particular stage. So that more pressure is acting in the fluid and also the stator. The stator have a mechanism to rotate in a particular direction only. When the car moves the fluid in the torque converters act in the turbine as well as in the stator with high pressure. So that a large amount of torque is produced with the help of torque converter. When dikha is sim running condition for example if a car is moves in hundred kilometres per hour then the torque converter is useless because the fluid in the torque converters are acts with a stator with a 90 degree angle. So that there is no pressure is developed and talked also reduced. Yes! that’s what we need in high RPM the torque is useless.
